Your statutory rights are not affected by these Terms.

These Terms

By using our website, creating an account or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

These Terms should be read together with our:

Return and Refund Policy
Shipping Policy
Privacy Policy
Cookie Policy
Legal Notice

If there is any conflict between these Terms and our Return and Refund Policy in relation to cancellations, returns or refunds, our Return and Refund Policy will apply.

Consumers and business customers

These Terms apply to both consumers and business customers.

A consumer is a person buying goods mainly for personal use and not for business, trade or professional purposes.

A business customer is a person, company, reseller or organisation buying goods for business, trade, resale or professional purposes.

Some rights apply only to consumers. Business customers do not have the same cancellation rights as consumers unless we agree otherwise in writing.

Use of our website

You must use our website only for lawful purposes.

You must not use our website:

in any way that breaches applicable laws or regulations;
in any way that is fraudulent, harmful or misleading;
to interfere with, damage or disrupt our website, servers, systems or security;
to upload or transmit viruses, malware or harmful code;
to attempt unauthorised access to our website, customer accounts, data or systems;
to copy, scrape, extract or use website content, product data or pricing data without our permission;
to send spam, unsolicited advertising or other unauthorised communications.

We may suspend, restrict or terminate access to our website or customer accounts where we reasonably believe these Terms have been breached.

Website availability and accuracy

We try to keep our website available, accurate and up to date. However, we do not guarantee that our website will always be available, uninterrupted, secure or free from errors.

We may update, suspend, withdraw or change all or part of the website at any time for business, operational, security or technical reasons.

The information on our website is provided for general product and purchasing information. It is not professional, technical or installation advice.

Product information

We make reasonable efforts to describe our products accurately.

Product descriptions, specifications, images, packaging, accessories and manufacturer information are provided for identification and general guidance. Product images may show packaging, accessories or presentation that may vary slightly from the actual product supplied.

Product specifications may depend on manufacturer information and may be updated from time to time.

Before placing an order, you are responsible for checking that the product is suitable for your requirements.

Compatibility of electronic and computer components

For processors, motherboards, memory, storage drives, graphics cards and similar electronic or computer components, compatibility may depend on the customer’s device, motherboard model, chipset, socket type, BIOS version, firmware, operating system, available slots, power supply, cooling system, dimensions and manufacturer limitations.

A product is not faulty simply because it is incompatible with your device or system, provided that the product was correctly described and supplied as ordered.

If you are unsure about compatibility, please contact us before placing an order.

Orders

When you place an order through our website, your order is an offer to buy the products listed in your order.

After you place an order, you may receive an automatic order confirmation or acknowledgement. This confirms that we have received your order, but it does not mean that your order has been accepted.

We accept your order when we dispatch the goods or send you a written dispatch confirmation. At that point, a contract is formed between you and us.

We may refuse, cancel or reject an order where:

the product is unavailable;
there is an obvious pricing, listing or stock error;
payment is not authorised or is reversed;
the delivery address is incomplete, incorrect or outside our delivery area;
we reasonably suspect fraud, abuse, misuse or unauthorised activity;
we are unable to fulfil the order for reasons outside our reasonable control.

If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, we will refund the amount paid using the original payment method.

Prices and VAT

Prices are shown on our website in pounds sterling (GBP).

For consumer orders, prices shown on the website include VAT unless clearly stated otherwise.

For business or trade customers, prices may be shown excluding VAT where this is clearly indicated.

Delivery charges are not included in the product price unless clearly stated. Delivery costs will be shown during checkout before you place your order.

We may update prices at any time. Price changes will not affect orders that have already been accepted.

If we discover an obvious pricing error before accepting your order, we may contact you for instructions or cancel the order and refund any payment already made.

Payment

Payment must be made using one of the payment methods available at checkout.

By submitting payment details, you confirm that you are authorised to use the selected payment method.

We may use third-party payment providers to process payments securely. We do not normally receive or store full card details.

If payment is refused, reversed, charged back or not completed, we may cancel the order or suspend dispatch until payment is received in full.

Delivery

Delivery is handled in accordance with our Shipping Policy.

We will deliver to the address provided during checkout. You are responsible for ensuring that the delivery address, contact details and delivery instructions are complete and accurate.

Delivery dates and times are estimates unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing.

For consumer orders, unless a different delivery period has been agreed, we will deliver the goods within 30 days after the order is accepted.

If delivery is delayed for reasons outside our reasonable control, we will contact you where appropriate and take reasonable steps to minimise the delay.

Delivery risk

For consumer orders, the goods become your responsibility when they are delivered to you or to a person identified by you to receive them.

If you arrange your own courier or collection service, the goods become your responsibility when they are handed over to your chosen carrier.

For business customers, risk in the goods passes on delivery, collection or handover to the carrier, depending on the delivery arrangement agreed.

Ownership of goods

Ownership of the goods passes to you only when we have received payment in full for the goods and any applicable delivery charges.

Until ownership passes, you must not resell, dispose of, modify or use the goods in a way that is inconsistent with our ownership rights, unless we have agreed otherwise in writing.

Cancellations, returns and refunds

Consumer cancellation rights, returns and refunds are handled in accordance with our Return and Refund Policy.

If you are a consumer buying online, you usually have the right to cancel your order without giving a reason within 14 days from the day you receive the goods.

After cancellation, you must return the goods within 14 days.

Refunds are processed in accordance with our Return and Refund Policy.

Business customer returns for unwanted or incorrectly ordered goods are accepted only at our discretion, unless the goods are faulty, incorrect or not as described.

Faulty, damaged or incorrect goods

If goods are faulty, damaged on arrival, incorrect or not as described, please contact us as soon as possible.

We may ask for photos, video, serial numbers, packaging photos, shipping label photos or other reasonable information to assess the issue and provide the correct return instructions.

If the goods are confirmed to be faulty, incorrect or not as described, we will provide the remedy required by law. This may include repair, replacement, refund or partial refund depending on the circumstances.

Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights in relation to faulty goods, goods that are not as described or goods that are not fit for purpose.

Serial numbers, product identifiers and return verification

For fraud prevention, warranty control and return verification, we may record serial numbers, product identifiers, barcodes, security markings and other identifying details for products we supply.

Returned products must be the same products that we supplied.

All returned products may be inspected before a refund, replacement or repair is processed.

If a returned product has a missing, removed, altered, damaged or non-matching serial number, barcode, product identifier or security marking, the return may be refused and the item may be returned to the customer, where permitted by law.

Processors, CPUs, motherboards and installation damage

For processors, CPUs, motherboards and similar computer components, customers must take reasonable care when handling, inspecting and returning the product.

Damage caused by incorrect installation, attempted installation into an incompatible socket or slot, excessive force, bent pins, damaged CPU contacts, damaged socket contacts, scratched contact pads, missing protective covers, thermal paste contamination, inadequate cooling, incorrect power supply, misuse or third-party repair is not considered a product fault.

Where returned goods have been damaged due to handling beyond what is necessary to inspect the product, we may reduce the refund to reflect the loss in value or refuse the return where permitted by law.

This does not affect your statutory rights where the goods are faulty, not as described or not fit for purpose.

Data, passwords and storage devices

Before returning any storage drive, computer component or electronic device that may contain personal data, you are responsible for backing up and removing personal files, passwords, encryption keys, account locks and security settings where possible.

Returned storage devices or electronic products may be tested, reset, formatted or securely wiped as part of inspection, repair, replacement, refurbishment or resale assessment.

We are not responsible for personal data left on returned products.

Manufacturer warranties

Some products may include a manufacturer warranty.

Manufacturer warranties are provided by the manufacturer and may be subject to the manufacturer’s own terms, conditions and procedures.

For consumers, manufacturer warranties are in addition to, and do not replace, your statutory rights against us as the seller.

Product use and installation

You are responsible for using products safely and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions, product documentation and applicable laws.

Where a product requires installation, configuration, BIOS update, firmware update, driver installation, cooling, power compatibility or technical setup, you are responsible for ensuring that the product is installed and used correctly.

We are not responsible for damage caused by incorrect installation, misuse, modification, unauthorised repair, incompatible hardware, unsuitable power supply, inadequate cooling, abnormal working conditions or failure to follow manufacturer instructions.

Accounts

If you create an account on our website, you are responsible for keeping your login details secure.

You must not share your account details with anyone else.

You must contact us immediately if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

We may suspend or close an account where we reasonably believe it has been misused or used in breach of these Terms.

Reviews, comments and user content

If our website allows you to post reviews, comments, questions or other content, you must ensure that your content is accurate, lawful and not misleading.

You must not post content that is abusive, defamatory, obscene, discriminatory, threatening, spam, advertising, unlawful or infringes the rights of another person.

Our website may include links to third-party websites, services, payment providers, manufacturers, couriers or other external resources.

These links are provided for convenience only. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, availability, policies or practices of third-party websites or services.

Privacy and cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies in accordance with our Cookie Policy.

By using our website, you acknowledge that your personal data may be processed for purposes such as order processing, delivery, payment processing, customer support, fraud prevention, legal compliance and website operation.

Export controls and restricted use

Some products may be subject to export control, sanctions or other legal restrictions.

You are responsible for ensuring that products purchased from us are used, imported, exported and transferred in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

You must not purchase, export, re-export, supply or use products in any way that would breach applicable export control, sanctions or restricted-use laws.

Our liability to consumers

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, and your statutory rights in relation to faulty goods, goods not as described or goods not fit for purpose.

If we fail to comply with these Terms, we are responsible for foreseeable loss or damage caused by our breach or negligence.

We are not responsible for loss or damage that is not foreseeable.

If you are a consumer, we supply products for domestic and private use only. We are not liable to consumers for business losses, including loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption or loss of business opportunity.

Our liability to business customers

This section applies to business customers only.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

Subject to that, we are not liable to business customers for loss of profit, loss of sales, loss of business, loss of revenue, loss of anticipated savings, loss of goodwill, loss of data, business interruption, indirect loss or consequential loss.

Our total liability to a business customer in connection with an order will not exceed the price paid for the products giving rise to the claim, unless a higher amount is required by law.

Events outside our control

We are not responsible for failure or delay in performing our obligations where this is caused by events outside our reasonable control.

This may include courier disruption, postal delays, strikes, transport issues, customs delays, supplier delays, stock shortages, technical failures, cyber incidents, natural events, war, civil unrest, government restrictions, legal restrictions or other events beyond our reasonable control.

If such an event affects your order, we will take reasonable steps to reduce the effect of the delay where possible.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

The Terms that apply to your order are the Terms in force at the time you place your order, unless a change is required by law or regulatory authority.

Please check these Terms before placing an order.
